For many years students have been asking if I have a book that accompanies my drawing classes. I am very pleased that my first book “The Art & Science of Drawing: Learn to Observe, Analyze, and Draw Any Subject.” was published by Rocky Nook. This project-based book is based on my more than 20 years of teaching and provides a distillation of the most accessible, streamlined, and effective methods for learning to draw.

This book was designed for both the absolute beginner as well as more experienced artists looking to improve their skills and master the fundamentals. It features dozens of new drawings and diagrams and introduces topics not taught in The Art & Science of Drawing video series.
