In today's video I try luxury travel in Phuket, Thailand and stay at the Rosewood hotel and resort. The hotel was incredible and a wonderful stay. Tbh I was expecting the room to be a bit more extravagant for $1,000/night but the overall experience, food, and resort did make up for this.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.

We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted ;)

So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.

Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.

4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time!

After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are in our 9TH YEAR of finding the best adventures the world has to offer :)

We are incredibly grateful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey!

Winter has family come, and the muskeg is frozen. So I am taking my tracked kei truck off the beaten path to explore the frozen lakes and swamps of Alaska's interior. I am going to spend 3 days camping with out a tent, sleeping under animal hides in a bushcraft survival shelter. I am going to do some campfire cooking and do a quick bushcraft blacksmithing project around the campfire as well.

Welcome to Yanjin, China - the narrowest city in the world! This place is AWESOME!

More than 100,000 people call this unique city home, living in high-rise buildings along a narrow strip of land between steep mountains and the polluted brown River. It’s truly mind-blowing to see how Yanjin has adapted to its natural environment, with its residents making the most of every inch of space available. The towering mountains in every direction make it feel as though the city is trapped in a stunning, yet challenging, landscape. In all of my travels, I've never seen anything like this!

Also - this is my first time visiting rural China, and I have to admit, it’s been a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of massive cities like Beijing or Shanghai. The slower pace, tight-knit community, and the way life carries on here, despite the obvious limitations, have been truly eye-opening.

Mainland China is full of surprises, and Yanjin is just one of the many hidden gems that I've discovered on this 18 day trip. Stay tuned for the next five videos in my China series, where I’ll be uncovering even more fascinating and lesser-known places across this incredible country! Woohoo!

Best Airport Horsey Day Ever 1374

Where did i put that? i know its around here somewhere....oh there it is! We are in the new house and we have been living here for over a week now. While we were moving and unboxing things, i found this little gold mini microphone that was so cute. I show it to Adley and after we give it a speed test in the camera, Adley has the idea that we interview the family to see what the love and what the don't love about the new house. Niko loves his new room, Mom loves her new shower, and navey loves that she can get cereal whenever she wants lol!

During the interview, Niko tells the news interviewer lady Adley that there is an emergency! He's toy ball is down in our we neighbors window well! So we need to go on a rescur mission. We made up a new game as a family, where we have this little ball and then we try and get past each other and throw it in the bed of Dad's Spacestation truck! But while we were playing, the ball rolled into our neighbors yard and down by a bedroom window. We need to get it but since we are new to the neighborhood we don't want people to think we are too weird! After a sucsseful rescue, Adley and Niko jump right back into our new family game!

We are running round, throwing the ball, getting all our extra energy out because we are going on a trip today!! So we need to get all packed! The kiddos give a tour of all the things they are bringing with them to.....NEW YORK CITY! Thats right, the very firs time for all three kiddos to visit NYC. I used to go there all the time so i'm excited to go back and with the whole family. So in the kiddos airplane bag tour, Navey is bringing dolls and play-doh, Niko had a big bag of snacks and his tablet, while Adley has pens, gel pens, pencils, and scratch paper. She is not going to run out of art supplies!!

We head to the airport and once our luggage is checked we start heading to the gate. Adley and i have a new tradition where she turns into a horse and i have to help here run through the airport. Plot twist, while we are in our TSA plus line, security randomly picks me to go through normal security. Its probably cause of my long flowing hair and that i'm handsom lol. I'll meet Jenny and the kiddos at the gate. It does feel really weird to walk through an airport with no bags and no kiddos.

I find the family and we get on our plane. Adley asks if she and the kiddos can get a picture with the pilot. The pilots are super awesome and even let Adley say "have the Best Day Ever" over the PA system. It's so cool. We get to our seat and take off! New York here we come! While we are flying we jump back in time to earlier dad and family where we show you some really cool stuff we got for the new house. All of them are things that we have invested in through the Spacestation and its all people like us, doing things differently and telling a story and we just wanted to be a part of that story!

We land in New York and after a quick finger board skate sesh, its off to our hotel. Its so magical seeing the kiddos see things, like huge buildings, a real life pigeon, and Niko getting pumped to see a taxi in real life! oh man, this is going to be an amazing trip!!
